If you have looked for discount cruises you know that there are plenty of web sites that promise you a cruise at a deeply discounted price. When booking your cruise here are some of the discounts that could be offered on your cruise line: Repeat Customer Discount. All cruise lines appreciate the loyalty of customers who sail with them again and again. As a "thank you", some lines offer special discounts to their past passengers on select sailings. Proof of past-passenger status must be provided at the time of booking. Senior Citizen Discount. From time to time, cruise lines will offer special discounts on select sailings to customers who are 55 or older on the day of departure. Only one passenger per cabin must be at least 55 in order to gain the discount for everyone in the room. The cruise line will require proof of age in order to qualify for age 55+ discounts. Military Discount. Sometimes there are discounts available who are active, reserve or retired members, or veterans, of the U.S. military . Qualifying military personnel must present a photocopy of current military ID, retired military ID or discharge papers and a driver's license, at the time of booking. Police Officers, Fire Fighters, and Teachers. Also some cruise lines offer discounts to active or retired police officers, firefighters or teachers on select sailings . Police officers and firefighters must present a copy of their official ID or badge, and a driver's license, at the time of booking. Qualifying teachers must present a photocopy of teacher's certification, union card or letter from principal on school letterhead. Group Rates. Group discounts are available if you have 5 or more couples. Or if you are interested in a singles cruise you might be able to receive the group discount if you book with that kind of group. Last Minute Deals. You can find discount Celebrity cruises, discount Princess cruises, discount Alaska cruises, discount Mexico cruises well actually you can find discounts on almost any cruise if you are willing be flexible and are not afraid to ask questions.
